Axel is a 3 year old boy and the youngest of five siblings. He became an internal resident of the Hogar in 2026 together with his brothers and sisters. Before coming to the Hogar, the children were living with their parents. During that time, a situation of neglect was identified in the responsibilities of care and protection, which meant that the older siblings were taking on responsibilities beyond what should be expected of children in order to help provide food and other necessities for their younger brothers and sisters.

As the youngest member of the family, Axel has always been especially loved and cared for by his older siblings. He is often surrounded by their affection and attention, and he has a very special place among them.

At his age, Axel is beginning an important stage of discovery and development. He is learning to communicate through words and starting to become more comfortable interacting with the other children at the Hogar. Each day brings new opportunities for him to explore, learn, and develop his independence while being surrounded by the care and support he needs.
