Aylen is an 11 month old baby girl who lives with her parents and older sister in Aldea El Aguacate. Her family is part of the group of families supported by Hogar Miguel Magone in the community. Aylen’s mother works only twice a week because she dedicates most of her time to caring for her two daughters, while her father has a steady job as a driver and works to support the family.

Aylen is a sweet baby who is beginning to discover the world around her. She enjoys listening to music and moving along when she hears a song. She also loves playing with her rattles and exploring through play.

Aylen was diagnosed with Down syndrome at birth. Her family continues working with medical professionals to complete the necessary evaluations and better understand her individual needs. She currently attends therapy once a week at Roosevelt Hospital, where she receives support as part of her early development.

Aylen shares a very special bond with her older sister, Mia. Mia enjoys playing with her, caring for her, and helping her mother with her little sister. Their relationship is already filled with affection, and it is beautiful to see the love and closeness between them.
