Fernando is a 15 year old boy and the oldest of five siblings. He joined the Hogar in 2025, after his mother was no longer able to provide the care and protection he and his siblings needed. As a result, the Procuraduría General de la Nación (PGN) intervened and referred the children to the Hogar, where they could receive the care and support they needed.

Being the oldest, Fernando naturally takes on a caring role with his younger siblings. He is always attentive to how they are doing and looks for ways to help whenever they need something. His caring nature is an important part of who he is, and he takes his role as an older brother seriously.

Fernando is also a very curious and outgoing young man. He is always asking questions and genuinely wants to understand how things work and why things happen. His curiosity encourages him to keep learning and discovering new things. At the Hogar, he continues to grow in an environment where he can develop his abilities, build confidence, and look toward his future with hope.
