Mackenzie is a 7 year old girl who became an internal resident of the Hogar in 2024, together with her younger brother Emanuel. She and her siblings had previously been living with their mother, but circumstances made it difficult for their mother to provide the care and protection they needed. The Procuraduría General de la Nación (PGN) therefore intervened and referred the children to the Hogar.

Mackenzie is a sweet and caring child with a very warm personality. She is polite and well-mannered, and she is often seen with a smile on her face. She enjoys talking and sharing with the people around her, and her affectionate nature makes her especially loving toward her family.

One of the things that stands out about Mackenzie is the way she cares for her younger siblings. She enjoys looking after them and being attentive to them, showing the tenderness and responsibility that come naturally to her. At the Hogar, Mackenzie is growing surrounded by care, opportunities to learn, and the support she needs to continue developing her bright and loving personality.
